I have a 8700 and I've been having issues with my cell service for over a month. They have swapped phones and sim cards.
The issue I have is when I'm in a call with 4 bars of service I'll hear every other word of the other party, it's almost like I have very low signal.
This l also happens when I call my VM. What do you guys think it could be?

Do you know anyone around you with T-Mobile? If so is he or she having the same difficulties?

Does this happen in only one particular area, or does it happen everywhere you go?

Have you tried a different phone other than the 8700?

Are you using just the phone, or are you using the wired headset AND/OR a bluetooth headset?

What is your location? There have been some reported signal issues with the Blackberry 8700 (there is a known connection routing issue with the blackberry 8700 at a cell site in Exton,PA zip code 19341). Have you tried another blackberry device, or a different type of phone? Check with friends or other people, and you might want to check into your local store. Do you have the same issue when you travel to different cell sites?

did you try using a DIFFERENT blackberry than the 8700g? try using a pearl or something. make them try all avenues before you give up. do you have friends with tmobile in the same cell site area? call up CR or go into a store and have them call CR and find out if there are other users with the same problem. don't give up lol

i am facing a similar issue in my work place with the cell site that services that area. it is driving me CRAZY
