Default Google mobile question

Please Login to Remove!

Hello, I am a new BB user and have a question about the google mobile app. Everytime i start the app it always starts up in regular google mode (classic) and i have to scroll down a long way to select the mobile mode. Is there any way to have it start up in mobile mode everytime i access the application? Also, are there any settings i need to configure on my BB to optimize my website viewing experience thanks a lot in advance!!

It sounds like you're asking about google web sites, not apps. Apps are stand-along applications that you install on your BB - hence don't use a browser or web sites.

gmail and google maps have stand-alone applications that display just fine and work well. Here's the central download page for all of google's mobile apps:
Google Mobile

Otherwise it sounds like your issue is with browser emulation... which I'm not too familiar with. Maybe you're emulating full-blown IE? Most google sites will automatically adjust to a mobile layout... and some have the option to switch back and forth. Cookies enabled to remember your preferences?

You might also try a 3rd party browser like opera or opera mini: http://mini.opera.com
