My company has a BES. Therefore, all my contact info, email, etc, are automatically synced to and stored on the company's server(s).

I'm interested in installing SplashID on my Blacbkerry to store all my passwords, account numbers, etc. I'm comfortable that SplashID is secure, but I still wouldn't want it on the company's server.

Can anyone say with certainty whether or not a SplashID installation on my PC desktop and 8700 will be synced with my company's server?

Third party applications, or their databases, do not sync to the BES server.

Couldn't an IT policy force a backup via desktop manager on cradling though? If it did, any data from the Blackberry could make its way off the device.

If you're on BES you should assume that nothing is sacred on your device

Even if you are on BES, SplashID databases are encrypted assuming you have set a password.

So even if your BES server backs up your SplashID data, no one could read the data without your password, as it is stored in a 256-bit Blowfish encrypted state.
