Sorry if this questions has been asked before.
My 8700g was on a bes before I started using it and it's password protected.
Having to type the password in everytime becomes really annoying after a while.
Is there any way to get rid of the password without putting the phone back on the bes again?

Welcome to the forums. I strongly suggest you use the search button to look for answers....
You need to remove the IT Policy from your device. You can do that by following the steps in this post:
Remove IT Policy
