When I load some (non DRM) itunes AAC music to my media card I cannot see them in the playlist view with the rest of the MP3 songs I have loaded. What's up with that?

You may need to change the format with Roxio in your desktop program. Itunes plus is still going through growing pains.

I burned some of my itunes music onto a CD and then reripped it to 128kbps AAC. Loaded it onto my SD card but it won't show up in the playlist.

I am assuming you card is formatted. If I understand you correctly, try to format back in .wma (good quality) format. .wav format will work but don't use because it will eat up your memory very quickly.

strange, i have had no problems with non-DRM AAC at all, but remember that all AAC purchased through iTunes is DRM locked unless its purchased through iTunes Plus which you can tell because they are $1.29 and have the higher bitrate.
As for the ones you ripped, not sure what could be happening there, you shouldnt have any problems, make sure the ones you are transferring are the new files and not the original though, i have done that once or twice.

I reripped the music and reloaded the songs onto my SD card and still the same result.

I know this sounds a little weird, but I experienced the same thing using a sd card reader.

I would put the microSD card in its adapter and put it in my 8 in 1 Sandisk reader.... copy the files over.... my phone couldnt read the files.

My phone can read the files...... there must be something about the microSD adapter that doesnt work well.

Is that any faster than just plugging the phone into the computer? Micro SD isn't known for it's speed, but the phone transfer is just plain slow!

Did you rerip the songs as mp3 and try? I would try that just to be sure it's the card and not the file-type as a problem.
