dont know why, recently, i've noticed when opening my text msgs and emails, there is like a 2-3 second delay...usually, it opens right up after clicking on it...so maybe i thought i should update my bb but desktop manager does not coneect to it...please help this two part problem, thank you

First see if.a battery pull to reboot will solve your message opening delay, before something more drastic.
Load the latest version of DM, and make sure you connect your BlackBerry and USB cable directly to your PC, not to a USB hub.

did the battery reboot method...still the same...should i delete some msg's?...is there a way and does that affect the speed of the bb?

Deleting messages won't make a difference in its connection to your PC.
However, like I said, I reboot of the BB could, as well reboot the PC, and try again. This is has happened to me, and rebooting both worked.

I find that sometimes in DM I have to go to Options->Connection Settings and then hit the Detect button while the BB is connected. If it's successul it should display the PIN of your BB.

well, DM works now for me...just have to solve the delay in opening msgs, whether it's Text or Emails...any help?...thanks
