Default Java Hotmail Login Question

Please Login to Remove!

All,

I have searched and have found nothing. I know the BB8830 has Java platform on it, from what I see in the About section. However when I go to [www.hotmail.com] it says browser doesnt support Java and go to hotmail page to see if browser is supported. Anyone else see this and if so am I missing something?

C

Not sure if it helps, but you can push your hotmail account.

I assume that you are having a problem access hotmail via the BB browser? It does work if you go into browser configuration and turn on "Support JavaScript" and change the emulation mode to "Miscrosoft IE". You might also have to change the default browser under General Properties to "Internet Browser". This configuration works for me. That said, accessing hotmail on the web browser is so ugly it is pretty much useless.

If you have a premium hotmail account you can set it up in BIS to send the email to your BB.

Thanks for the replies guys. It was for a friend. I use BIS and just wanted to see what settings were needed. Thanks again.
