Have a quick question for you guys / gals. I am borrowing my g/f's 7100i (Nextel) that she doesn't use anymore (switched phones to sprint) and i wanted to use my simm card in it. I powered and booted up and the regular screen came up then it asked me to unlock the phone with the prompt "unlock - cancel - emergency call" To make a long story short I entered the wrong password and I gather 9 attempts were before that one. So now the phone doesn't boot up but comes up with a code "705" with a circle and slash and an identifiable symbol within. I went to the Nextel store the guy looked at it like it was from area 51 and said I've never seen anything like that before. He said I would need to send it out to be "repaired'. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Especially since my girlfriend had some important info on it and is blamming me for the thought it might be lost!!
