I hope someone can help a new Blackberry 8800 user. In outlook I drag my emails into my task list to keep track of emails I need to action. Can this be done or is there a quick way of creating tasks from emails directly through the Blackberry.

Up until today, it's my understanding that unless you are on BES, the answer was No. However, as of today, with Blackberrysmart's Smartview reader v2.0 (see posts in the Aftermarket Software forum), you now can now do exactly that. And more.

I use a program for todo's that is great, it's by RexWireless REXwireless: BlackBerry Software Applications Their ToDo Matrix has an option to "Inject into ToDoMatrix". You can inject emails, contacts, notes etc... It's something like $50, but I have not found a better task manager for the Blackberry. I used it with the 8703e and now the 8830. I can't help you with a cheap/free solution, but if you try a few of them you should give Todo Matrix a look too, they do have a free trial I think.
