Default Send using...missing in replies?

BIS - 4 accounts

When an email comes in, I hit reply and I remember being able to go to the top and changing something like 'send using' to send that reply out using any one of the 4 accounts I have set up.

Lately when I go hit reply to an email, I don't see that option.

When I create a new email, it does show the 'send using' option at the top.

Is it supposed to be there if you hit reply to an email or am I losing it?

PS: Searched for two days all over, I hope this hasn't been covered already on the forums...

It's been covered, but glad to answer. In replying to an email there is never an option to change the "send using". You cannot change that in replies.

If you must change the send using message service when replying, you need to choose forward and enter the recipient and change the "send using" at the top.

You can also change the send using in original emails you are composing.

There is a solution and it is software based. I think it is BBreply

I used to be able to select who I was sending as yesterday on my old 7520, now on my new 8300 I can't?

Default Same happened to me

You have to have AT&T resend your service books or if you know how to do it yourself do so. There is a link I believe if you search threads for my user name, a moderator links how to do it. As soon as I did this it fixed my problem. Hope this helps.

I would assume that the send using option is not there in reply's becasue "realistically" once you send an email to someone covering 1 subject...you don't change the address that you are sending from later in the conversation

If by chance you were emailing them on a business account and now you want to start a personal conversation from your personal account...then ideally you would start a new email with a new subject...thus giving you the option of choosing a new email address
