Default How to move Tasks from Applications folder to Home Page?

Please Login to Remove!

I would like to move my Tasks icon from the applications folder to the Home screen, I do not know how to do it, please your help, I am using the standard Cingular (or AT&T) Theme, thanks

Sorry, cant be done. You can only move icon around on the screen they are already on. Your only option is to switch to a theme that does not have the application folder.

I thought the icons on the home screen correspond to the first five icons listed on the first line under applications. If you moved your tasks icon to the top line in the applications folder it should show up on your home page.

Thanks, as a matter of fact, I have it as icon #1, first line and first in position within the line (top left corner), but it does not appear in the Home Screen????,

you are talking about two different themes.
A4X4 you are talking about a Zen them or something where it only show the first four icons.

brosenz I think your talking about the at&t theme where tasks in the applications folder. you cant move that icon out of that folder. My suggestion is to change the theme to one of the dimension icon theme where the tasks icon is not in any folder, it is on the home screen.

Sorry, you are right. Pretty fresh to the Zen theme and that was the one I thought he had. Have not seen the other one thus I have misspoken

no problem, the zen themes are great i usually use them rather than my at&t theme. Check the RIM software section if you want to get all the themes.
