Is it possible to use bluetooth to pair my iPaQ 1945 with my Blackberry 7100? The devices will see each other my my pocket PC gives me msg that says the device (refering to phone) does not have any services available.

I would love to be able to link these two together...Ive heard its possible to linke them via Outlook. Anyway to share data between the devices or the phones wireless connection with the PDA?

Nope; the Bluetooth on a BlackBerry can do audio/wireless headset only. Been mentioned many, many times in the forum.

Im new to forum...I did a couple screens of checking and didnt see any info. (hence the reason I knew about outlook). Wonder why it doesnt work? I have phone slips on my PDA and would love to sync my phone with PDA for billing reasons.

example...call comes in...phone caller ID gets number...PDA recognizes number and pulls up client info...answer phone...program starts clock for billing..end call..pda generates bill based on time spent on call. Would be nice

As has been written many times, RIM has limited Bluetooth support due to security concerns. RIM first and foremost is security conscious - always has been - and the idea of data being stolen (Bluesnarfing is the term) is too much of a risk. So right now, the only Bluetooth profiles are for audio.

As ive mentioned...new to Blackberry. It will take me a while before I fully realize all the benefits and limitations. Ive not even set up my corporate email yet (need to get port info and the like on Monday). The shared keys will take a while to get used to but having email and some internet browsing will be a benefit over last phone (piece of #%## LG phone).
