I've tried a few different headsets, so I can provide my personal experiences. The headsets I have tried:
Moto HS 810
Moto HS 850
Jabra BT 250
Both of the Moto headsets did not have the in-ear design, so there was never a snug fit. I found myself always pressing the headset against my head to help isolate from the ambient sound. However, the range of both Moto headsets was very good. I could be about 40 feet away, with a wall, and have full clarity.
I ended up choosing the Jabra because of the in-ear design. I frequently make my phone calls from the car, so sound isolation is key. The design of Jabra is great in isolating external sounds, and also, for me, fits more snugly due to the design. The only complaint I have so far is that the range is much more limited than the Moto headsets. Frequently I will be walking, headset in ear and BB on belt, and get interference.
Hope this helps.
