Default 7100 on O2

Can anyone help?!

Been using the 7100 on O2 for a few months - I pick up 4 emai accounts on it - but only for 1/2 days per week when travelling.

The problem I can't work around with O2 - is that the way it seems to work is that the O2 mailbox periodically checks all 4 accounts - so that if I haven't had the blackberry on for 3 days say, and have been having my email on my Mac as normal, then when I turn the blackberry on - it still downloads a selection of the email that it's picked up in between the times my Mac has downloaded them......

Seems a real waste of time - is there anyway that the O2 mailbox can consolidate the accounts live.

No one at O2 can seem to help - they are seemingly brain dead when it comes to the blackberry.

Thanks in advance.

Yes I've got the same problem with O2. Also I don't like the way that when you turn it on, the time & date is when it was delivered to the BB, not of the original message. But now I just leave the BB on & delete the messages I've already read.

Default 7100 O2

This is poor though - just means I'm using up my MB allowance when I don't need to be - plus it's really inconvenient to wait for 100 emails to come through which need to be deleted immediately....

You are also right with the date thing - that is just poor.

The o2email on application is really really weak too......O2 are so shocking with customer support (and the worst thing is O2 is one of my biggest customers and even I can't track down the right person in the organisation to whinge to!).

I can't even find one person who knows how to use GPRS through my other mobile phone with my Mac.....(the details they give you on line are incorrect!).

O2.......never again !

What other mobile, and which Mac do you have? I used to use a Nokia 6650 on Orange fine with my iBook G3/G4 - perhaps I can help you out?

Hi - thanks for the offer - I used to be with Orange (well for nearly a decade) - and then for some insane reason went to O2 ! - that's when the fun started !

However, I cannot seem to get Internet Connect to see the phone - although I can browse it etc - very odd - it's not that I have the wrong dial string - just that it won't initiate connection.

Any ideas?!!

Thanks in advance !
