Is there a 3rd party app, or way that the blackberry 7100g can come on when you get a new SMS or Email message.
I have my blackberry mounted in my car and many times I dont notice the red led blinking but if the screen actually lit up when a message came in that would be nice.
I just dont want to have to install some big, bulky app that does 100 different things and costs 40+ dollars just to see when my messages come in.

Do a search on BBLight and see if it does what you want. It's a good (free) program.
