Default 7100g Led Indicator Light

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 7100g Blackberry from Cingular, live in Orlando, FL.
On the SCREEN/DISPLAY area i have "Led Coverage Indicator" turned on.
Is it supposed to blink green?

All mine ever does is blink red when I have a new message or blue if im using bluetooth, the unit works perfect but wonder if im doing something wrong since I dont ever see a "Green LED".

Thanks,
Tommy

Yes, it blinks green. However, it is the lowest priority (after red and blue). Not sure why yours isn't blinkling. Guess the red and/or blue are taking priority.

The green light is the signal coverage light and can be turned off in the settings too.

Default Duh

I know what the green light is, and what its supposed to do, my problem is that it has never once blinked green, ever.
With bluetooth off and no messages, it doesnt blink green, when bluetooth is on it blinks blue, and if i have messages it blinks red, but never, ever green.
I have re installed the software 2-3 times, the latest version of course, and the settings are says "Led Coverage Indicator" ON.

Call Cingular -- they will send you another unit.

Default LED Light

Does anyone know how you can turn off the blue indicator light when bluetooth is enabled? I know you can turn the green one off but it would be nice if you can turn the blue one off as well and still use the ear piece.
