Unhappy Missing Outlook Mail - BB8830

Please Login to Remove!

I just traded in my incredibly unstable MotoQ for the 8830. I have noticed quickly that mail that is appearing on my BB is not showing up in Outlook at all. This is of great concern as many emails contain important attachments etc that I delete from the handheld only but never show up in my Outlook client.

Has anyone else experienced this issue and figured out how to fix it....this would be a fatal flaw for me.

Best,

JD

Are you using BIS or BES? If you are using BES maybe you are deleting them off the server before your Outlook has a chance to get to them, or with BIS maybe you just need to do a manual Send/Receive.

Can't do a manual send/receive on a BB. It is all push.

One thing to try is to make sure you have "Leave Mail on Server" checked in your Outlook setup under "Advanced"

We'd really need to know much more about your mail services. No one can answer your question based on what you've posted...

Complete details please...

Thumbs down Sorry, Europe interrupted my query

I am using BIS, not BES. At first, some messages were squeezing through. Now everything hits the BB first and does not populate Outlook at all.

To make sure Outlook is getting the mail first, delete your email accounts in BIS. If email is getting to Outlook, then reestablish the accounts on BIS and resend your service books.

That would be a cause for email going to Outlook but not the BB. The OP has the opposite problem. I can't think of anything other than giving the removal and re-addition of the email account to BIS a shot...

Agree, that is why I suggested deleting the BIS set up to make sure mail will go to Outlook properly. Once it is, he/she should configure Outlook to "Leave mail on server" and then set up BIS again.
