I'm so lost.

I've downloaded a desktop manager. But I have no idea how to transfer the opera file to my blackberry. Once there, I dont even have any remote idea how to install it. Operas instructions are very horrible. They dont give any real direction. Furthermore, how do you get pictures and music on the phone? I think I have the wrong desktop software or something. I'm using a blackberry 8700c on cingular on a gophone account.

Can anyone for the love of god tell me how to get this opera or any other file on my phone? I'm going crazy!

If I'm not mistaken...you would load Opera much like any other application. Open Desktop Manager -->click Application Loader --> find where you downloaded the Opera files on your PC and then add them. Click next and it should add them.

For music and pictures you can send them via email, the 8700 does not have support like the 8100 and 8800 have to transfer them via Media Manager in the Blackberry Desktop Manager. You can download them via your internet browser also.

Ok should I add the zip file? When I try to expand it, it will not add.

Yes I've unzipped it and when I try to transfer I get a line 1 error or something. Am I supposed to do something when I zip it before I try and transfer it?

Apparently, I'm an idiot. I was downloading the international version. I got he us one and it loaded right up. Problem solved!
