Default blackberry browser stopped working

Please Login to Remove!

hey guys,

i'm on t-mobile germany with a 8700g and BES. I've installed the latest 4.2 OS rigth from the sticky Thread here in the Forum and everything worked fine for me - BUT suddenly my blackberry browser stopped working and - the heck i can't make it work anymore.

I've already completely nuked the Device with JD_loader and reinstalled the OS - repeated Enterprise activation several times with no success.

Has anybody a suggestion what to do now? Do i have to re-install the official T-Mo Relase (wich is 4.1-something for now) ?

Greets.

my pin is 250FFF18

Welcome to the forums apt!.

Go into your BIS and resend your service books. Also go into options, Advanced options, Host Routing Table, and wheel click on Register now.

You should be good to go.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

When you say your browser is not working, what exactly is happening? Does it not open? Can you not even see the icon?

I had this happen to one of our users just the other day. It was as simply as removing the battery, waiting 15 seconds, put battery back in and the browser was working. This also will work when the user is not receiving e-mail from a BES server. This fix will not work by turning off and on the device. This is also provided that everything else, I assume, is function properly.
