Default 7250 goes from 1X to 1x for no reason

See topic. For some reason my 7250 will just drop from 1X to 1x, and the only way I can get the 1X back is to pop the battery and let it re-boot. What could be the issue here?

Do you notice it happening when the signal fluctuates, or is it happening when you have full (or mostly full) signal?

I am running 4.1.0.291.

The signal loss very well could be an issue, since the building I work in has really bad coverage sometimes.

If you are in a higher coverage area, you still have to pop the battery? I assume your battery must drain very quickly.
