Help required.

My blackberry is looping (hourglass & red LED) after upgrading to the latest OS.
I cannot access it with javaloader.exe, to wipe it.
Is there any other solution to it??

I wiped the BB now. When I connect with the loader the BB will be recognized USB-PIN:9827498, but when I hit next it reads "The BlackBerry Desktop Software does not have BlackBerry Device Software....".

I reinstalled BB software and device manager, deleted vendor.xml.

NOTHING.

HELP !!!

Do it in this order:

Install BB Desktop Manager 4.2 SP2. (You can use the one without Roxio, if desired.)

Install the OS package (make sure it's an appropriate OS for the device.)

Delete the vendor.xml file

Plug in BB and start Desktop Manager and then Application Loader.

Did you install an OS for the 8707v?
