Hi,

I'm running a BBY 8700v on Vodafone UK.

Over the last couple of days I've noticed a new icon appearin the top right hand corner of the screen. It appears just under the signal strength meter i.e. GPRS.

The icon is only there when I take the device out of the holder and dispears when I unlock the device.

The icon is a small square with a number 1 to the left hand side.

Anyone know what it is & how I deal with it?

Thanks

Landman

It's probably an icon telling you the device is locked and the number of the attempt to unlock you're on.

Try putting in the wrong password, then let the device go back to sleep. When you go back if the number is 2, that's it!

Uhh what...I've never even heard of an icon for that...

Is it a slanted square? If so, check for an SMS
