when I answer the phone it takes approx 2 seconconds before the other party can hear me & vise sersa, is this normal.
Also when navagating through the menus, the BB seems it doesnt keep up very well if I'm going through menues quickly.
Are these things normal or do I have a slow 8800?

same issue here. thinks its the nature of the device. I also find the menus to be slow, when i use app switcher it seems to be even worse. If you just got it you might try another one but dont get your hopes up.

There are a majority of factors also, applications installed, applications running.. memory all of these come into play.

I notice the same thing about answering a call also, it's not instant.

any resolution to the slow response?
