I've added a 2Gb MicroSD card to my 8830 to keep music and maybe a movie with me while traveling. I have two issues that have surfaced:

1) I've loaded a little over 1Gb of music by dragging/dropping from Windows Explorer and using the media manager to convert to 128Kbps but not all the songs are showing up in My Music on the BB

2) I've tried loading videos by dragging/dropping and using the media manager tool and resampling/sizing but when I try to play ANY video I get a "media processor busy" error.

Any suggestions?

Firstly, I've noticed that it takes the BB a while to index newly added stuff. Be patient. It's not the fasted media player around. I had problems like this several times. It does seem like a reboot and then wait usually fixes it.

Second, updating the device software with the Bell version seems to have resolved most of the media player issues I've had.

I have no clue about the the "media processor busy". Try a batter pull.

Be patient while it builds it's lists. It seemed to me like if you go right in and try to play stuff while it was trying to build the index it would not complete the index build.
