I'll be travelling to England and Italy this summer. Has anyone here successfully used the DUN tether with their laptops overseas? If so what username/password/dial-up settings were used?

I tried my entire time with every setting I could find on the web and had no luck. Try searching the forums and web for vodafone modem settings and maybe one will work for you, I could not get it to work in France or Spain.

I am thinking maybe Vz locks the sim card to prevent tethering or something. I have Sprint now and they seem to be more tether-friendly so hopefully next trip will be successful there. Otherwise phone, email, and browser surfing worked well with the Vz.
