I had a problem with my 8703e for verizon with JiveTalk. Beejive said it was a known issue. I was wondering if people have had any problems with there 8830 and JiveTalk?

Anyone have problems with their 8703e and didnt on the 8830?

Jivetalk works fine on my 8830. I can't speak for any other device as this is my 1st BB.

Have either of the last 2 replyers had an 8703e or no?

I've had JiveTalk on my 8830 for about a month now, absolutly no problems at all! I also had it on my Curve before i returned it and it ran fine on there as well! As for the 8703, I used another IM client when I had it, never tried JiveTalk on it.

As far as your 8703e went, what program did you use and how well did it work?

On your verizon 8830, you haven't had any resets or freezes at all? Even with your jivetalk logged on? How often are you logged on for? Do you ever get disconnected randomly?

I do get logged off randomly from time to time but it happens few and far between. The 8830 is my first BB, never had any other.

Do you use your 8830 or 8703e now? Which do you feel is better and more stable? Which works better with JiveTalk?

Jive talk runs well on my device. My only issue is the battery drain.
