I have a Blackberry 7100i and my provider is SouthernLinc. When i setup new email accounts they all get copied to the "Messages" Icon. How can I change the settings so that only email coming in from a BES goes into the "Messages" icon and all my other emails from other accounts(gmail, hotmail, etc.) go to just those icons. Better example would be how you can go into the "Call Log" icon and select to just put the call logs in the "Call Logs" icon. Thanks in adavance for any help.

You can't. The Messages icon is a consolidated inbox and always collects mail from every e-mail account on the device.
BES mail will only go into this inbox, as will all of your BIS accounts.
BIS accounts also get their own inbox icon, as you've noticed... but BES mail does not behave this way.

You can set your call log to not log into the Messages icon at all.
Phone > Options > Call Logging > None.

It is my understanding that the Messages folder is basically an area that stores all messages, including SMS and MMS. I believe that certain themes can separate the SMS and Messages in to different views. But I believe all messages, whether they are from a BES or BIS account, will still go to the Messages folder. Choosing either the GMail or Hotmail icons can kind of just show the ones that were captured from that account, but they aren't particularly in a separate folder. That is my understanding, at least.
