Default BB 8830 VS XV6800 (Mogul/Titan)

This is my first post.
I am strongly considering the new 8830 from Verizon. I know Blackberry is far more stable then Windows Mobil, but I have 2 concerns.
First, it is EV-DO and apparently not up-gradable to Rev. A ÖIs that a real big difference in speed? Should I be concerned about it? Second issue is I have noticed far less software for the BB. Are vendors wrighting more and more software for them. I guess I can wait for Verizonís release of the HTC 6800 just released on Sprint as the Mogul. It is Rev A ..WM 6. Itís very tuff to know which is a better phone. Advise would be nice
Thanks for helping

Moved to 8800 so the new user might get some response.

Having used 2 windows mobile devices in the past 6700 and 700wx and now using the 8830. I will without a doubt tell you BB is the way to go! I am so impressed with the build quality and stability its an AWESOME phone!

yeah.. what HE said.

(I used a XV6700 and a Q.)

WM devices aren't even CLOSE to the dependability of Blackberry.... IMHO.

Further, there seems to be more and more BB 3rd party apps coming out every week.

You really need to ask yourself... "what do i really need in a handheld device"

Email + dependability = Blackberry
"...lesson learned and the wheels keep turning..."
