Default Quickest Unlocking you know of??? + stolen BB yesterday

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys and gals,

The stolen part...

yesterday I was in a store on Melrose Ave, LA and left my phone on a chair for literally 40 seconds while I was looking at a dress my girl was trying on. I turned back to reach for my phone and the store assistant looked at me strangly at the same time, i noticed my phone was no longer there...

The shop assistant said "that was your phone" and i replied yeah, he went on to tell me how he just saw a guy pick it up and run out down the street.

I was wondering if I can do anything with my pin to recover or locate the stolen phone.

the unlocking part...

I purchased a new phone from a guy on craigslist today but its cingular and im on tmobile, so anyone know the fastest unlockig service? i would like to be able to put my sim into the phone this afternoon if possible.

Thank you so much

Jess

No way to really locate it unless the person answers a call.

Make sure you suspend the service on the stolen phone and cancel your BIS account pronto. You will be liable for all usage up until you tell your carrier. It isn't like a credit card where you are only liable for the 1st $50.00.

You need to change the device in BIS so your email doesn't go to the stolen phone.

Anyone else here feel like RIM needs to build a WIPE function in the BIS interface? It's in the BES system, why not in BIS as well? Anyone have an email for suggestions to RIM?

Device management in general is one of the major selling points of BES. There are plenty of options that they leave off BIS to keep it from competing with BES.
