Angry Timed out

Please Login to Remove!

I am new to the Blackberry. I have an 8800. Phone, e-mail all good. In trying to download a ringtone I had it e-mailed to me... I click on the link and get repeatedly timed out. I search evrywhere... I drive back to the store. The store tells me to go to the internet and download it. So needless to say about 4 hours later no freaking ringtone and now my husband is trying to do it and getting the same result. Mercy, Please help. Thanks

Meli, is the website you are trying to download from even active, or up? Have you tried it on a PC?

Can you go to any other website? Try this one, wap.blackberryforums.com or another.

Why don't you just use the Roxio media manager that's included with the latest Desktop software? You don't even need to use a Micro SD card; you can just load it to memory. That's what I did.

What ringtone are you looking for? Maybe one of us has it.

Smile Saved!

Thanks for the replies.... I'll try some of them. It turned out it was a defective unit and they replaced it this morning. It also turned out I got for a vacation and had an international package and the link for the ringtone I order on my PC went to the Medianet browser instead of the Internet Explorer browser and something about the plan and being local made it even stranger.
