| | Handheld Min log Level: cannot set to DEBUG INFO ?

RIM requested me to send some debug logs from a BlackBerry device. The asked me to enter ALT+LGLG to open te event log, and to change the loglevel to DEBUG INFO.
I can get into the event log, but when i set the log level to DEBUG INFO that setting is not saved! When i click save it jumps back to the event log which says "Information" instead of the selected "Debug Info". I am able to set it on the WARNING log level (and it stays there), but i am really unable to set it to debug info. It always reverts back to Information mode.
Anyone else can reproduce this? I could reproduce this on all my BB8700 devices running 126.96.36.1997, 188.8.131.52 and 184.108.40.206. Also reproduced this on a BlackBerry Curve.
this is a problem for me because blackberry support needs debug logs to help me with an issue. I have also reported this debuginfo story to the RIM helpdesk, but they say they are unable to reproduce it. I am able to reproduce this on allmost all my devices so this sounds weird to me.
CAUSE: bug, Combination of Content Protection + Memory Card encryption in the IT Policy caused this.
WORKAROUND: Disabling them in policy will alow it to stay on debug mode.
