I hate that thing.

So i shut off voice prompts, but I would really like to make that key on the side turn into an autolock once I accidentally touch it or something to that extent. Is there anyway?

Thanks!

Yea, lol, Options > Screen/Keyboard. Set your convenience key.

And read the manual, or at least the Stinsonddog Tips, see the link below. All good stuff. Enjoy.

Is there anyway to make it play in the earpiece instead of the speaker? I like the voice prompts but don't like the public announcements!

Nope. Lots o' posts on this already. If you turn the speaker phone volume all the way down, the voice is quieter, but there's no way to turn it off completely or point it only to the earpiece. Werid, I know, but that's how it goes.

If you use bluetooth or a wired headset the voice prompts will play through those instead of the speaker...

Is there anyway at ALL to FULLY SHUT OFF the voicecommand software? I had a ROYAL time using a nice headset on my old Pearl, and it was a PAIN because any wind blowing by the microphone initiated the "say a command" followed by me cursing that voice prompt.

Can this fully be disabled in the phone? Heck even be UNINSTALLED?
