Default Lookup Problem

I have just come accross a strange problem on our Blackberry's that I am pretty sure wasn't there before.

The problem is with performing a lookup when composing an email (or just lookups anywhere).

For example:

I want to search for John SMith. So I click the Use Once option and click Lookup.
I then type in Smith and press enter.
I then get a reponse saying that 1 match has been found for Smith. At this point I am expecting the name to automatically resolve but it doesn't.

I then click View Lookup and see John Smith in the list. I select John Smith and click Resolve. I am then taken back to the address book and the "1 Match" entry is still there and hasn't been resolved.

If I select the "1 Match" entry and select "EMail Lookup: Smith" the entry in the To field reads 1 Match: Smith which I cannot send to as the name needs to be resolved and I cannot do it! argghhhh!

I am not a big user of Blackberry's. We only have around 10 in the company and they rarely have a problem so apologies if this message is a bit confusing.

First thing I would try would be to turn off your blackberry, remove the battery...leave it out for 5-10 minutes and put it back in. See if this resolves your problem.

If this does not solve your problem....Make sure all services are running on your companies BES(Blackberry) server.

If this does not resolve it try wiping your handheld,and reactivating.
