I just picked up my 7100t from T-Mobile Friday. I am worried now I will have problems with it after reading in this forum. I am thinking of trading it in before it is too late for the BB 7290. The only real problem which is a huge problem for me is I can't see the screen outside. I am a roofer and am always outside with this. I have adjusted the brightness to 100% but still it is very hard to see. Would this be a problem no matter what Blackberry I get? Thanks

The 7290 has 2 different light settings. I can see my screen when I am outside in the sun without a problem. I am sure the light is not going to help you when you are out in the sun but it is nice to have. Anyway, I hope this helps.

The traditional BB's have a much better at anti-reflective, I use my 7780 outdoors and it holds up well, I have clients with 7290's same thing. Now the 7280/7230 we're a whole different story, but the 7290 that your thinking of should serve you much better in outdoor light.
