Default Composing an email

Please Login to Remove!

Hi - I've had my 7100t for a week and am enjoying it. I have several questions but will start with one. Can I (and if so, how) compose an email from the 7100t on my tmo.blackberry.net email account to someone? I can open my email-box and reply to someone who's emailed my blackberry account (or my gmail account auto-forwarded to my blackberry) but I want to be able to generate an independent email, on the go. If I click on Messages/Compose Email, I am directed into my address book, which isn't what I'm looking for. Any advice much appreciated.

Dan

In your address book, highlight and click (with your trackwheel) on the name of the person you wish to email. This will give you several options.......call "John Doe", sms "John Doe", email "John Doe". Select email and you're on your way.

Default thanks

Thanks for the explanations.

Yes I could have clicked on 'email' under a saved contact, if the person I wanted to email was a saved contact with an email account entered already.

I stumbled across my answer. In case it's helpful for anyone else: Go to Messages, click and open Compose Email, then scroll to the top of your listed contacts to "[Use Once]". Then click on Email, and enter any person's email address.

May be obvious to most, wasn't to me at first ...
