Default No full screen video?

I was playing around witn an 8300 and noticed it has a menu option in media player for "full screen" video, which hides the controls. However, I have not seen this feature on the 8800....am I missing something? I thought both phones were pretty much identical when it came to media player.

nope the curve has the updated media player. have to wait for new OS with that update for the 8800

The 8830 also has full screen video playback. Sounds like the 8800 needs an update.

Any idea if an update is in the works, or is the 8800 a 'has been' as far as RIM is concerned?
