Default Automatically Deleted call logs and text messages?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all,

Anyone had any issues with your 8830 deleting text message history and call log history automatically for no reason? I was switching themes around the other day and ever since it seems to be deleting text message history and call log history. Any suggestions? Anyone else have this problem?

Your out of memory on the device. Blackberries will delete call logs, txt message history etc when memory is running low.

What is your memory status?

Menu>options>status

If it's less that 16mg then you are having a memory issue.

I realize this link is for another model but the issue exists with both the 8100 and the 8300. Read and follow the directions and hopefully it won't happen again!

File free says "0" is that saying I have no free memory? I find that very hard to believe.

I found out I had one song uploaded to the device, apparently this was a bad idea. I think the problem will be solved now.

Buy a MicroSD card if you want to load any media. Don't use device memory. There isn't any to spare.
