Default Personal Folders - Blackberry Memory

Please Login to Remove!

So as with all Outlook users, I have a Personal Folder where I store old emails as not to exceed my Inbox limits. I finally figured out how to set it so that I can access my PTS from the Blackberry and my emails will reconcile. But my question is, if all my emails from my PST in my Outlook are being redirected to my Blackberry, will my Blackberry ever get to the point where it can no longer store new emails? I know that emails placed in my PST in Outlook get saved on my computer's hard drive and I can't imagine that a Blackberry has as much storage space as a computer. Anyone know?

Also, truth is I don't really need access to my PST on my BB, but I only set it up that way b/c it was the only way to get old emails off my BB when I moved them to my PST in Outlook. That said, does anyone know of a way to set it so that when I move emails to PST in Outlook, they dissapear from my BB? Thanks!

Your Blackberry has a setting under messages->Options->General called "Keep Message" X days. I believe that is all the longer it will hang onto email, even in other redirected folders. It should clean itself out after that amount of time.

In short, yes, you could fill up all of your memory with messages if you're not careful, but this feature helps to purge old messages.
