Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

My 8830 bluetooth is sometimes turning itself off spontaneously (maybe once every few hours or so) while my headset is connected. I would suspect the headset, but it's turning off on the phone itself. I have to go back into "Manage Connections" and turn it back on. The wireless network stays on just fine. Anyone else have this problem?

Not sure this will help ...but worth a shot

Enabling trust mode prevents your BlackBerry device from disconnecting from your Bluetooth device after each call.

From the BlackBerry main menu, select Options > Bluetooth.
The Paired Device screen appears.

Scroll to your Bluetooth device and click the trackwheel.
Select Device Properties.
Set the Trusted field toYes.

If that does not work maybe try removing your battery for a few and seeing if that helps you.

Default BT Turning off

I have the same problem. Sometimes it happens as soon as I end a call. Other times it's random. A few times it happened while IN a call. That wasn't fun cause I was in my car at the time.

Verizon has reported it to RIM as a bug. Making the pairing trusted doesn't solve it.
