Default Dialpad letters?

Please Login to Remove!

How do you guys make calls when you need to call a # like 1800 verizon and there arent numbers on the pad?

Hehe, I love it. It gets everyone. Dial the numbers and then dial the letters (spell out the words on the screen). Hit ALT to type the letters on the keypad.

The blackberry will automatically translate the letters over to the correct phone number.

What do you do on the Pearl when there are 2 letters on each key? For instance, I want to dial "K", but "J" is first on the key...

Sorry, I did a search... Guess I should search only in 8100 forum...

I searched and figured out to hold the ALT. Thanks.

Does that work the same with Spell-by-Name directories?

When you call my office and don't know the extension, you can dial the person's last name. But with my blackberry, I don't know which letters belong to which numbers.

hold down the ALT key while spelling the name.
