In Stinson's 8800c tips, under step one is this statement in step one, after doing a fresh install of Desktop v4.2. It says:

"You must then install the handheld code from the RIM website". What does that instruction mean??

Oh is should probably say the OS. You need to have the OS installed on the desktop too I believe. Possibly not with the newer ones but it is generally a good idea. I will update the doc.
