Question Using My Own Pictures As Background

Please Login to Remove!

Hi!

Can someone help me please.. I'm trying to change the background of my bb8703e and I want to use a picture I have on my computer.. How can I do that?? I've done a little searching but didn't find anything.. Can someone please help??

Two options:

1. E-mail the picture to your BlackBerry. When received on BlackBerry save the picture. Then go into the pictures to find it, and select the option to set as backround.

2. If you have 4.2 Desktop Manager and Handheld software installed, use the media manager in Desktop Manager to transfer the picture to the handheld. Then on the handheld go into the pictures to find it, and select the option to set as backround.

Since it's an 8703e, option 2 is not an option

also if a picture is saved to a web hosting site(imageevent, photobucket, etc), browse to site and click save picture. Find the picture on your device and click set as background. enjoy
