Default Best Carrying Case for 8800

I do not like the leather case with the flap that comes with the 8800. What is the coolest case available??

Actually I might be thinking of Holsters. Has anyone tried this Seidio Holster - Accesories ?

What does everyon ehere use?

Check over in the Hardware section of this forum for many many threads on favorite cases and recommendations. Several of the sponsors here have good choices.

I have used krusell cases forever it seems, and I like the Krusell Classic Multidapt Case with SpringClip for Blackberry 8800

Smile Best High End Leather Case

I just recievde my handmade Vaja leather case for my 8800. Unfortunately, I should have oreder one with a belt attachment as I do not want to damage the workmanship of the leather by inserting and removing from my front pants pockets 100+ times a day.

If interested, I'd sell the one I have at a discount. Invoice shows recieved on Monday, 7/16.

Either way, the workmanship cannot be beat!

I like the holster that comes with the BB. It's one of the best belt clips I've ever had for a mobile device. I use it with the $14 silicone cover from Verizon, which is also a nice cover - and cheap, considering the source. The BB will still fit in the holster with the cover, so I just use them both together.

I also put a Fellowes screen cover on the BB. I had some left over from a PocketPC, so I just carefully cut one to size.

I've bought several cases for my 8800, but I actually prefer and like the stock RIM one. The grooved interior for the trackball and the sleep magnets are what win me over, along with the swivel clip that is hooked to not slip off my belt along with the fact that it doesn't look awful.

There are some nice cases out there, but some don't have the trackball groove, or don't have magnets, or have a clip that will slip off my belt if I brush something or bend over.

So for the time being, I'm sticking with the OEM one, although I am always on the lookout for something else.

I really like the Gizmoskin leather case but it met an early demise at the hands of the Seidio hybrid case and holster. -Pk
