Check your Service Book for MMS Config entry. If you don't find it, you may want to get your Service Book resent....

OPTIONS -> ADVANCED -> SERVICE BOOK

Yes Cingular does allow MMS.

Or, rather, I will speak for myself. I have it with CingularAT&T.

From the site;
IMPORTANT: Sending/receiving picture messages (MMS) is only an option on the RIM BlackBerry 7130c, RIM BlackBerry 8800, RIM BlackBerry Curve, and RIM BlackBerry Pearl. Other RIM BlackBerry devices do not have picture messaging (MMS) functionality on the AT&T wireless network at this time

Your wrong! I had T-Mobile 8700g with MMS. It depends on plan and carrier. I have sprint now and they do not have a MMS option. You have to go threw there Mail Link. But T-Mobile with Data plan I had the MMS option right under Messege option.

It's all moot anyway, the OP, on which this thread is based, is not on Cingular or TMo.

I have to call AT&T and check with them, after upgrading my 8700 to latest OS 4.2 I do have MMS client [MMS] under service books but no option to send one. On the today screen using Vodafone Today theme it says Text/Media Messages by the SMS folder. Very odd.

I remember a couple years ago, I bought a phone with MMS capability, but I called Fido and asked about this, but my understanding is that the network has to support MMS before you can send them. That being said this may have changed...but I don't think so.
