Question Internet Browser works, BB Browser doesn't

Please Login to Remove!

Hello all

I just got a 8703 and it seems to be a nice unit so far.

For some reason I have 2 browers, Internet Browser and BB Browser. The BB Browser generates an error when trying to access a webpage. I get a HTTO Error 503: Service UNavailable. The details of the error say "MDS Service Unavailable: u7a"

But like I said, the Internet Browser works fine. The settings for both browsers seems to be the same.

The only topic on your boards I found for a MDS error was
MDS Service Unavailable: u193

and it didn't really help.

I am half debating on deleting the BB Browser but not sure the consequences. I obtained the BB from work and we have a BES.

Thanks for any help...looks like a good resource you guys have here.

bb browser im pretty sure is just to browse the intranet/internet through a bes..
so if your not on a corporate bes of some sort i dont think it will be any use to you... you can hide the icon though.

Thanks for the reply. Makes sense.

I did change the default browser from the BB to the Internet browser which helps. I'll have to check out the ability to hide icons though.

Cheers
