IMHO it all comes down to which carrier has better coverage. I tried the curve and loved the phone, but hated the network. I am currently trying the 8830 from verizon and I love the network. Phone is nice too but I liked the curve better. I just kept dropping calls.

I had the exact same experience and impression. LOVE the Curve, just couldn't warm up to AT&T.

Default 8830/curve

I understand, I love the verizon service, but they always have the worst phones. It seems as if I want to stick with verizon, then the best balckberry offered is the 8830. This s-cks because the curve specs seem awesome.

I've used both and while the Curve does have more/better multimedia functions and is smaller I couldn't deal with at&t's network. I'm sticking with the 8830 and VZW; your mileage might vary.

Default 8830/verizon or cruve/at&t

Thank you to everyone for replying.

I know, verizon does seem to be the best carrier for me in NYC. Does anyone know if a better phone than the 8830 will come out with verizon anytime soon?
