Default Finally the 7100g

Just got word today that were are now going to be carrying the 7100g at my corporate environment.

With the exception of ring tones, and the physical appearence whats new on this thing? Anything I should be aware of? Battery Life different?

Judging by the looks they keyboard looks like it moved away from the comfortable typing and went to more of a phone look which I don't care for.

I'm guessing the 7100 does not support GPS am I correct in that statement?

It washes out in the sunlight. And of course the keyboard and Suretype and different...

The only BB that supports GPS is the 7520.

It also has a speakerphone, which I find nice. Great indoor display!...... and although it does wash out in direct sunlight, just blocking the sun with your body at least makes it readable. Depends on where and when you use it.

The 7100g battery door is somewhat loose, cut out a business card that fits the battery, sprinkle some pixey dust, and voila, the door is tight .

Peace and blessings,
