Since new my 8800 has been doing some weird things. If I leave it sitting on my desk it will light up by itself and sometimes not go off. It happens in the car sometimes too. Its intermittent and I cant find any pattern to it. I also notice sometimes that I can charge my phone all day, not use it and if I dont leave it plugged in it will be at half battery or less overnight. Other times it will go for days on a single charge. It would appear as if the screen coming on by itself would be the culprit draining the battery.

If I pull the battery and reboot it the problem seems to go away for a while, then all of the sudden its back.

One another non related note, I have noticed that if I have my BB within a foot of my 60GB iPod that it will wake the iPod whenever the BB communicates with the tower.... I also hear the dreaded clicks in my speakers so I know when its communicating. Curse you Cingular for using that GSM band
