Question No sound from HBH-DS970 Bluetooth Stereo Headset

Please Login to Remove!

I love my new 8800...and I was excited to get it setup as an mp3 player (with microsd support). So, I picked up a Motorola Stereo Bluetooth Headset (model HBH-DS970). I've used bluetooth phone headsets in the past (but not on this model) --- and I can pair up the devices and connect and all that -- but I can not, for the life of me, get any sound to come through those headset speakers.

Perhaps firmware v4.2.1.72 is incompatible. Any ideas????

I don't think stereo Bluetooth is availabe on the 8800 yet. Its available on the 8300 and 8830 with 4.2.2.

That's correct. I purchased the Motorola headset for my wife's BB Curve. It works great but I could not get it to work on my 8800 for media. It will work for incoming and outgoing calls however only in one ear. Apparently the 8800 does not have the latest bluetooth driver like the Curve.

BB states this will be rectified with the 8820.
