Question 7100i Charging Problem

Please Login to Remove!

I almost always use the USB cord to charge my BB (7100i) and the other day I plugged it in and it started charging and then stopped so I would move the cord and it would charge again, now it charges for a few seconds and quits, So I tried my after market Car cord and it seems to work fine,

Should I look towards the cord or the USB on the BB..

Anyone else had this Problem ??

Bunky, I have heard a few people have problems with their USB port on the BB becoming loose and killing any charging. If your car charger is working fine, then that does not seem to be the problem.

You might should try a different USB cord, and make sure you keep good backups of your BB from here on. If the USB port were to fail, that is the only way of getting off the BB the information you have stored there. So good backups now will save you great headaches later.
